Welcome and well done getting to the victory lap of C25K. The second 5k is easier to add than the first... you can do this and anything else you set your mind to. Best advice would be to consolidate on 30 minutes/5k a little before pushing on... your body will appreciate the rest from constant progression as injury risk diminishes further.
Happy running.
That’s brilliant. Keep going.
I’m now 46 years old and completed C25K in April and ran 10k in July 2 weeks before my birthday following the magic plan.
I would love to run an ultra but as UnfitNoMore advised need to let my body catch up with my grand plans.
Running is amazing and a real gift.
Well done on getting back out there. I'm also 46 and since Nov 19, running has had such a positive effect on my life. There is the terrific Bridge to 10k programme and so much more beyond. Enjoy what you can do and do it regularly and comfortably then aim for more 😊
I am 58! Don’t know how that happened but just have to accept it and carry on running. I started last August so have just had my running anniversary. Ju jus plan for bridge to 10 k is great. Running gets you hooked and you just have to keep going. Enjoy your achievements.
Great. There are a few of us 46 year old's hanging out here (ME ALSO BEING ONE). I had a very sedentary late 20's and 30's. Tried a few times with Gyms and trying to run. But failed miserably. Then 3 years ago after failing the C25K plan many times previously I completed it and kept running. Of course there have been times on the injury couch since and little blips along the way. But running is amazing for health, wellness and you meet the nicest people along the way. This place Bridge to 10K is especially brilliant. Keep posting, keep running and good luck on your way to 10K.

Fantastic, I didnt start running until I was 42, and I will be 50 in 2 weeks! Its a great time of life to make positive changes and improve fitness. There are loads of resources here, have an explore around the forum and there will be loads to inspire you. Huge well done on graduating too
Also in my 40s and started running. Everything that the others said, spend some week just doing the same but maybe taking a moment to find out new routes that you could do.
Just building a routine is fantastic. Also someome questionned my need to always want to go further. Just a thought! I’m still thinking about it...
Well done on your progress so far. My tips at this stage: consolidate, consolidate, consolidate. Keep it slow, do the time and keep posting! Keeps you accountable!
