Checking my emails when I came back from my run and found this. I'd completely forgot the date I did my first parkrun but I do remember that day really well. I was so nervous as I had never ran with anyone before but when I had finished that 1st one I realised I had nothing to be nervous about , I had a great time. 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️

Had my first outing that wasn’t a visit to family, or knee related today - went to a local garden centre for cheap lunch - so my knee is throbbing right now, but over all still getting a bit better every day. As far as I can tell 👍

I think it is new, for my first parkrun anniversary I got a e mail but not that logo, it was from the Contra people asking me to buy a anniversary T 👚. Shirt.

Yes AlMorr I also got a 20% discount of their website. Their tshirts are excellent, ive only got one so may get another😊

In a way I do wish they were back on then on the other hand my husband has copd and I don't really want to be in a large group of people then bring covid home to him. But I'm happy i can continue to run on my own . 😊

Happy Parkyversary!!! My armband is sitting all shiny and new and never been worn sit I bought it during c25k. Have done some Not runs but can't wait to do my first real one!
