After the heat of yesterday I was hoping to wake early so I could be out before the sun got up. I needn't have worried as I woke at 4:50 there was a bit of dithering but then I was up and off. After a couple of minutes walking I started having a really weird sensation running down my arms! I was feeling cold ππββοΈπ I laughed out loud at that!
A 30 minute run for me today and after reading so many posts from all of you guys I realise I should probably just forget all about pace at the moment as long as I am actually still running π€£So 15 minutes on the tarmac and then onto my old railway line and best of all I only saw one person the whole time I was outβ¦. perfect π
Lots of lovely wildlife though rabbits a plenty, Red Kites soaring above, some lovely cows (not really wild but I do like cows β€οΈ) and yippee a skein of geese flying over meaning Autumn is on its way π.
And not to forget these lovelies the runners favourite animal π€£πββοΈπ

This is Brilliant on so many levels, youβve given me a different perspective on the plant munching variety of π, how beautiful, snails get such a bad press and I have been know to chase after them with salt! Hope your arms have warmed up ππ€
ππ€£ I'm not keen on them in my garden π Amazingly these were all within less than a square metre of each other. There was another one but he was on a steep slope. ππ
Thanks ju-ju for confirming that. I think that had been a problem for me for a while, when I was doing consolidation runs I didn't worry about it at all and I was enjoying them. Then somehow I got it into my head that I needed to be trying to go faster.
Just lovely, good to be able to appreciate the wildlife
I got an apple i picked from the grass on my way past a tree this morning and a springer spaniel that chases and barked and barked and chased so i had to first walk then stop then go back towards its owner to return it
Yes, I had one of those apples last year and it was delicious
Sounds such a lovely run dijep. I envy you the cooler air π! Thunderstorms are beginning to break the heat up and bring fresher air where I am Herefordshire, so hoping for a cooler run tomorrow π. You keep running your own run; sounds perfect to me π.
Hope you've got some cooler weather without the storms. I was in Tewsbury last week, went for a lovely very warm walk up the Malverns. Enjoy whatever the weather x
Brilliant read dijep, I'm so jealous you got to feel cold on your run π
I'm crossing fingers for a cool start to the day tomorrow but will not be getting up quite so early as you π³...7am is a push for me on a non work day π
