Back from hols magic 10k interlude. What to do?

Did a few lovely runs on holiday much better scenery than I am used to as you can see.

I ran 5km but found the runs hard going because of different terrain and the fact that I was also walking 10 miles each day so my old legs never got enough rest so I stuck to 5km runs.

Then I tweaked my back, it didn’t hurt to walk but I thought I was better to rest from running as I am scared that I would injure myself and can’t run at all.

I can’t believe how I missed the running before I was a disbeliever

Got back to 5km runs after about 5days rest from running.

Now the dilemma do I pick up magic plan from where I left off or start again?

I see you reached 8k 3 weeks ago. You are back to 5k runs and put in a lot of miles walking. I'd be tempted to give 8k a go again, with no expectation on speed just for the sake of a nice long run which if it makes 8k great, if less then that shows the week to restart at. Happy running 🤗
