When your running clothes are taking over your wardrobe 🤣
When you're out walking the dog and you see a runner and you secretly watch them for a few seconds ( or is that just me ) 🤣🤣

Plus out walking the dog, you analyse the route, footing and gradient and wonder what it would be like to run there.

I totally get that - watching other runners!
Reply (1)Report
no, I look at their running gait, their shoes, everything!

You’re driving along noticing other runners and feeling a pang of envy .....
Reply (4)Report
You no longer care what the neighbours think
Reply (5)Report
Agree with this! At start of C25K, I used to drive to a town where no-one would know me.

You say I"I'm not increasing distance" but you think "how can I add some extra Km's "
Reply (6)Report
I'm not increasing speed either and not looking at stats (oh but why was I slower on that section and maybe I could just add a few kms...)

Yea - what is that all about??!?
Reply (1)Report
you spend hours foam rolling and stretching so you can get back out there and injured yourself again 😂
Reply (5)Report
Put like that, 🤣🤣🤪🤪!
Reply (2)Report
You realise you’re day isn’t right unless you’ve actually been on a run or planned your next run tomorrow...

When you set your alarm ridiculously early to run before a 12 hour shift at work and then don't sleep well because you are planning your route.
Reply (3)Report
Yep. It’s official. You’re ‘into’ running. 😂
Reply (2)Report
So many of these!!! Plus, you find yourself with 5 minutes to yourself (how did that happen 😂) so you go and read / watch something running related
Reply (1)Report
Yep- I end up on this forum!
Reply (1)Report
you think, oh I'd quite fancy a little run and realise you've already had one that day
Reply (1)Report
You smell of deep heat not Chanel number 5
Reply (0)Report
That’s proper funny!! 🤣🤣

have signed up for running magazines / it's all you talk about / it's all you think about / have active dreams of running a marathon (and having to run to the start as you turned up late)
Reply (0)Report
Running has infiltrated your dreams - that is serious! 😂

It is! I have to step back from it sometimes... bit of an obsession. Also today a few builders contacted me and said can we come tomorrow, I'm sure yes. Now I'm thinking how am i going to fit in my run around all this??

Elfe5 60minGraduate 4 years ago You keep spotting exciting new places to run when you are on holiday. 😄

When you get talking to another runner and notice that all the other dinner guests have fallen asleep!
Reply (0)Report
Yes! Other people zone out VERY quickly! It’s interesting that no matter what stage you’re at, w1d1 of couch or much further in your running journey, there’s always soo much to talk about.
