Blimey it was windy out there!!!

I was trying so hard to keep my heart rate down this morning but it was a waste of time as everytime I turned a corner I was right into the wind again. It was quite nice and bracing and quite warm too but definitely a struggle. At one point I am sure I was running on the spot😜😜

But still that’s another 6k towards my target and as I wasn’t sure if I’d make it to 5 today I’m pleased with that. Again no great speed but a nice steady run.

Home now and baking coffee cupcakes and ginger snaps. The house smells lovely .☺️

Powering through that wind. Excellent! It does raise quite a funny image though - you with the legs whirring round like a cartoon character while remaining stationary. Won out though!!!

That’s what I felt like!!! I went for a walk after lunch with my son and we were nearly swept away again- quite invigorating though. Even though it is still warm the air is so much fresher 😁

There's something slightly ridiculous about it that makes me smile...maybe it's the feeling that we must be crazy to do this, but we're runners so we do it regardless, that I enjoy. Clearly you do too, well done 👍😆
