Nice to come across this friendly community. There seems to be a bit of no man's land between C25K and superfit distance running, so this group's existence is much appreciated.
Born with a club foot so have some challenges, but steadily building up my aerobic base.
I'm not into competitive running, but started out with a view to keeping up with illegal fox and hare hunts (they're on horseback!) - which I'm now managing to do. What I wasn't expecting was just how much I love running just for its own sake.
What else? I run in huarache (minimalist footwear) sandals because of my strange feet and I'm trying to figure MAF (Maximum Aerobic Function) and the rather grim business of combining the high fat/low carb MAF diet with my regular vegan one. Any advice/thoughts on this appreciated.
