Now having twelve days off work I decided to get back into running - I think it’s fair to say I’m a fair weather runner. So on one of the hottest days of the year so far I’m awake at 5am (- that’s this weeks body clock) and I’m out of the door and brisk walking up to the canal. I kept telling myself “go easy, you want to get home in one piece right ?” Jog 6 mins, walk 2, jog 3, walk 2 and then repeated the whole process - I’ll probably regret it tomorrow.
A warm return ! : Now having twelve days off... - Bridge to 10K
A warm return !

You'll feel great now you are back though! I hope you enjoy your runs with the break you have too.

Well done on getting out for a run this morning. Good plan too to get out really early. 👍
Thank you both. yes, I felt really good afterwards. Hopefully I can get some kind of plan going and run regularly over the next few weeks.

Perfect, well done... early is always best ( in my view anyway)
