What a lovely medal you have got from running the Monklands Half Marathon a few weeks ago, wear it to show people your wonderful achievement.
24.6C at 11am at Cumbernauld weather station, today is going to be the hottest day of the year, I hope you enjoyed your run today before it gets really hot later in the afternoon.
Tomorrow morning as early as possible, probably around 6.30 I intend to run my 11th virtual 5K parkrun, I know that I should run at 9.30 but unlike you I don't really like running in a temperature above 20C, I have already taken Holly a walk as her owner told me that Holly doesn't like the heat in the afternoon, enjoy the rest of the day with that medal around your neck, o yes I remember you saying that you would wear it to Morrison's when you went your shopping π.
What a cracker as your first one!! Half Marathon too. Did you ever think that?
Congratulations on your richly deserved medal. Each time you look at it let it always remind you of how far you've come, the spirit inside you and what you will achieve ahead. π
That's a pretty damned impressive one to have as your first. Is it wrong of me that I use my Edinburgh 10k one from November as my keyring? I need to send away for my #MilesForMind now that I've hit my target total for May.
Thatβs fantastic - how wonderful to get your 1st running medal in the midst of all this, as Iβve said before you are an inspiration to us all on here, so very well deserved. Wear it with all the energy it took to achieve it!
