My first fly🏃‍♀️🤢

So there I was minding my own business running along in the sunny weather and about 3k into the run a fly decided to fly in right to the back of my throat. I was sick right there at the side of the road🤢 but managed to continue running once I got rid of it.

Very warm today but great to be out in shorts again. Happy running people 🌞🏃‍♀️

Yuck, I had the same on my last 10k in Inverness. Over the course of the run 1 in the mouth, one up the nose and 1in the eye, luckily the eye one was on my last 3 minutes so could wait till I got home. Happy running 🤗

Happened to me last week too, although I managed to eject it without too much ill effect. Horrible isn’t it?

Sorry about the fly getting into your throat, I hope it didn't spoil your run too much, as you know I ran my 6th 10K this morning and was spared with no fly flying into my mouth, I did see 2 other runners, one running in the opposite direction with a 10K T-Shirt and another runner running at sub 60 minute 10K pace who passed me and kindly wished me well on my run, us runners are so friendly and nice to each other.
