Missing my parkrun

Well it’s saturday tomorrow and once again no parkrun to do.....

Really missing the run and the post run coffee and cake

We are ALL missing parkrun on a Saturday morning, why not try out what a lot of people have been doing since the last official Parkrun on 14th March, run a virtual 5K parkrun near to where you live at the exact time as the official ones are, after that you could go home and enjoy a coffee and cake, that is what I have been doing, tomorrow will be my 10th virtual parkrun 🏃🏾 👍.

Lol yes I’ll be out tomorrow morning for my run but it’s the company I miss .....

I’ll put up a post in the morning for a Virtual parkrun. We have been posting our little run reports after our 5K Saturday morning runs. It’s a nice way to pretend that it’s a parkrun.

I started 3 weeks ago meeting 2 friends of mine whom do parkrun tourism with me. We go for our own individual 5K runs and then meet up at a cafe for a Takeaway coffee and cake. We then sit outside and practice social distancing whilst having a good catch up and a chat.

I’m really missing parkrun too. I was planning on getting my 100 t-shirt and 25 volunteer t-shirt this year. I too miss the social side. But my new Saturday morning routine is great. I’m looking forward to it.
