The Lockdown Look...

A few people seem to be sharing these at the moment, so here's mine...

To be fair, it's not too different from my "usual" look, other than being a bit shorter on top.

Don't have nightmares, and I won't be held responsible for any cracked screens...

Looking good. Hubby allowed me to attack his a bit yesterday, dont think my attempt was nearly as professional 🤣 you'll be laying down new PBs now with your resistance reduced. Happy running 🤗

Very smart and a professional look. I was lucky to have purchased clippers just before lockdown and the online clippers shortage. I’ve had 2 haircuts so far from Nicola which were excellent. I was very happy. Our 7 year old Son has also had a couple of very good cuts. However my parkrun running buddie and Son whom is almost 11 has very fine hair. The poor little guy looks like his hair was cut with the lawn mower.😂 He looks like a mix between Pee-Wee Herman and a sugar bowl haircut.

I’ve also never grown a beard before COVID-19, since then I’ve grown 3.

I last grew a beard about 30 years ago for charity when I was a student. Never again. I can tolerate a few days' growth but after that the itch just drives me nuts. Running to raise funds for charity is much easier in my book.

Yeah I’d pushed through the itchy phase. I grew one beard for 5 weeks. But what drives me mad is the playing I do with it. I’d be watching TV and can’t help touching it.

Good photo of you sTrongFuse, very smart, I don't think that any person seeing that photograph will have nightmares, I have been on this forum for more than two years and only took a photo of myself because roseabi one of the administrators wanted to see my beard. 😊

perfect! Have people been tapping you for advice and tips 😉 I need to do cut number 2 on the 3&1/2 yr old in the next few days. Attempt 1 a few weeks ago was fine... lets hope I don't get too confident 🤣

You look very smart sTrongFuse.

Clippers are great. My other half kindly uses clippers on what remains on my head.

During lockdown our image conscious teenage sons also let mum use the clippers on them.

The younger lad was initially totally refusing to have his hair cut, so she bribed him with a 50p payment. All was going well until near the end when she cut his fringe too short by accident when he wouldn’t raise his head a bit. Oops 😬, and additional 50p payment was required to placate him.

Sharp look SF! My hubby is bearded anyway and had a short haircut just before lockdown, so he’s dealing ok. Our son is lightly bearded, and sports a longish do as a rule, so he’s fine too. Our daughters and myself are dealing with our growing locks just about successfully - but I need a good ‘shaping’ - not by any member of my family however! 😅😱
