Hi I don’t have a fit bit or anything just looking for something accurate on my phone to track my runs

Maybe I will ask Santa for something on my wrist! 😍

Many thanks 🙏🏻

I installed Strava on my phone and then got a Garmin for Christmas. The garmin also connects to the Strava.

When I first started running I did not want to spend a fortune on an expensive running watch as I didn’t know if I would keep it up. So I went on eBay and bought a Garmin Forerunner 15 GPS running watch for £20. It was a bargain and I used it for 2 years. I gave it to my sister who runs when I was upgrading to a Forerunner 35. She is still using it and 2 days ago she logged a 25:46 minute 5K using it.

So you can get a very good GPS sports watch on eBay without spending a fortune which is far better than any App on your phone.

Garmin Forerunner 15 or 25 should be available between £20 to £30 second hand. You can download the data on a PC via Garmin Connect and it will then upload onto Strava on your phone. I had the Forerunner 15 for 2 years. Great watch. I upgraded to a new Forerunner 35 last year. Really to be honest only difference is that it has Bluetooth so connects direct to my phone without needing a PC. It’s also a little smaller.

Happy shopping. Remember max bid at £20 to £30 if going for a Forerunner 15 or £25.

I used map my run, easy to use. Many on here use strava. My preference is my garmin forerunner watch about £100, many have found them cheaper online. Happy running 🤗

Strava is free , just download it from the app store on your phone. 😊
