After completing couch to 5k several weeks ago I am running 5k (45mins) every other day with a struggle 😂and power walking in between but what do I do next. Loved the app (couch to 5k) which really helped me get motivated - any suggestions please (57 year old lady never done run in my life 😂😂😂😂) many thanks

Same age, started August last year, now running regular 10ks. Have a look at the 10k plan, it slowly works you up to 10k or 60 minutes running with 1long and 2 short runs each week. Make sure each run is a really enjoyable one by finding your happy pace. I’ve tried to ignore speed, and been rewarded with it increasing slowly over time. Happy running 🤗

I can echo Grannyhugs recommendation. I did Ju-Ju’s magic plan and ended up doing 10kms. I did it so that 5km felt like a little run, and it worked! I use Runkeeper. It tells me how far I’ve gone, what my pace is, and records each run so I can look back at my progress. I can recommend it. Well done and good luck.

Another recommendation for ju-ju’s magic plan from me. I wanted to try to get to a 30 minute 5k after finishing C25K (at 56) but it just wasn’t happening, so decided to try to get to 10k instead. It’s a great plan and the bonus for me was I increased my 5k speed without really trying.
