Bike ride for broccoli 👍

It's official teenagers have no off switch, well it certainly applies to my youngest 🙄. I'm sure she left vegetables off the shopping list yesterday, just so it gave her a reason to grab a bike ride today... That said it was a nice leg stretch after yesterday's run.....

Her energy may be neverending but haha she definitely doesn't like hills..... ......... ( honestly there's no hills on the way home 🤫😂).

We looped into the our local village via towpaths and roads, and then detoured by the STILL SHUT!!! chirk castle national trust site and ahhhhhhhh freewheeled down passed the old golf course and headed towards the kettle and teabags ☕ and a sit down ....

Ta buddy, the legs had a little stiffness this morning, the bike ride has loosened them up 👍🙂. The house is oozing chocolate from various cupboards and drawers, but strangely I've got a savoury craving 🧀😂

Those are referred to locally as the pretty gates 🙂 they're part of the history of chirk castle, but I won't bore you ( you can Google 😁) it was though a nice excuse to get astride two wheels and pop for broccoli 🙃
