I finally got fed up with the same consolidation run and yesterday scouted out a new variant whilst walking.
It’s called Wynne’s Bungalow, is 5.1 km, very hilly and has only one dangerous blind bend. I ran it this morning at no Olympic speeds.
But how come so many stretches that feel flat whilst walking are definitely UPHILL whilst running? There’s a 96 metre uphill climb (with only one short respite) for about 60% of the run.
If this doesn’t prepare me for a Parkrun when they start up again, I don’t know what will.
Keep on truckin’ VRBs.
