The dodgy foot has been feeling better, so today I took a chance on a little jogette. Was waiting outdoors at the local hospital (no C-19 yet but no extra people allowed) while Mr GS had his tests. At the back I found a lovely little semi-wild area with some open green bits. So I gently jogged dressage patterns for 10 minutes. Inappropriately dressed for either riding or running, I must admit, but with the running shoes on (Now how did that happen? π€)
It felt fine, indeed delightful. Tomorrow will tell, of course. Then I continued walking around, saw about a thousand sparrows fighting for places in the hedges, startled a bunny, and watched 3 cock pheasants posturing and chasing each other. A really restful hour of refuge in the midst of trying times. π
Hang in there folks. Your running posts are inspiring. Take each day as it comes. We are all tired from the pace of these changes; take your own respite where you can, in whatever way works for you. π

Thanks. Bit of a beginner on the dressage front, so no prancing for me. π€£ But I made good patterns on the ground and kept a steady pace and turned my corners well. It quite took me back.... π Still looked like a tortoise, of course, but there was no one to see so that was ok!
Oh that's lovely, what a picture you've painted. I also have visions of you dressed like a knight, with someone making clip-clop noises with coconut shells a la Monty Python π
