Should have listened to hubby...

I find now that I lie in bed planning out new running routes. So, planned out a new route around home. Announced proudly to hubby where I was going. Him: “That’s a very steep road... you sure?”. Me: “only a bit, plenty of flat bits.” Now, upon reflection, this is where he grew up and he should know...

I did the run, survived, but oh my! Legs still sore a day later. Highest elevation as per Runmaster - 144 metres. Never again!! Covered 8k so I am pleased with that.

You planned it and you did it, go you 💪. Never say never as I found hills can make you a stronger runner😊😊

It was my 2nd 60 minute run. So pleased with that. One more and I’ll allow myself that badge! Imagine!!

Well done you and you should definitely do it again when you feel ready. Hope you didn't tell your husband he was right 😂😂

Had to... he actually phoned to see if I was alright as I was out so long! But, also my 2nd 60 minute run! That includes the times I jogged on the spot to “admire the view” 😬😬

Well done . All hills round my home so always hills involved. It will help you with your leg strength and your breathing. Bask in the glory that you did it when your husband doubted you 🤩
