Isn’t it great that internal monologues are exactly that - internal.

One of those yuk yuk yuk runs tonight. The battle was in my head. Here’s a snippet:

“Aw, seriously, why are you doing this to yourself? Just stop. No, I know this is the toxic ten. Keep going. No, this is more that toxic ten. Just stop. No, this will pass. Aw, it would be so nice just to walk. No, this is how it always feels. You’ll be so chuffed with yourself after. No, why bother. I’m not a runner, who am I kidding? But you done C25K, you have your badge, you’ve run this distance loads. But just to walk would be nice.....” and so on and so forth.

So annoying. Was a horrible run but still did over 6k, which I still can’t believe that I can do. But 🤯🤯🤯🤯 trying to talk yourself out of it!!!

That’s reads weird, it’s in reference to your post about your legs!

Haha computer gremlins too! Legs are really tight, I’ve just messaged sport massage person to see if they can take me tomorrow. I’ve learnt it’s always best to sort out stuff asap! I’ve been doing yoga and stretches but i think i need extra help. Thanks for asking!

I so empathise with that! Today, exactly the same, just over a shorter distance 👍😁

I still get some runs that just don't feel right. Then you finish and see what you've achieved with perseverance and it kind of feels good in the end.

Great that you ran over 6k even with a battle going in in your head and you won. 🥳🥳🥳
