Calf Pain

I completed C25K and then onto 10K last year, culminated in doing a 55 minute 10K in a race, I then moved onto a half marathon programme and by December I was upto 10 miles fairly comfortably, since December I have been a bit of a shambles and not done a huge amount however since trying to really get back into it I am having serious issues with calfs, after about 1KM they feel completely gone, I am now struggling to get through about 3K has anyone had this before? Breathing and stamina wise I feel fine but legs have no energy at all, anyone got any advice on it?

I am never having 2 months off again!

Ouch poor you. - sounds like you were a really fast runner, that and your last sentence make me wonder if you’ve restarted too fast too soon after the 2 month break. 🤗

I agree! Try Japanese slow running until you can run with ease again!! Take care & don’t cause injury! Feel for you but patience is needed! 🌷
