Disappointed 😔

I bought some Hoka One One Arahi 3

in November 2019 on the recommendation of the guy in Up and running. They were £130! So not cheap.

Sadly, after only 103 miles I can feel the pavement with every stride which is causing me knee pain. They also have gone in holes inside at the heel. Has anyone else had problems with this brand?

I believe they should last longer than this. ☹️

I’d say take them back to the shop and ask they are sent back to the manufacturer, sounds like a design fault. Should definitely last way more miles than that. I took my old Brooks in at the start of the year and they told me to keep running for a good number of months. They’ve had 3 years gym use and over 400k running. Good luck

That's not good . Do you still have the receipt? I would take them straight back to where you bought them. Good luck and let us know how you get on 🤞🤞

I am on my second Arahi 2's, and bought Arahi 3's from sportsshoes.com in a Black Friday sale (£68.00) for when I need them.

No issues like yours littlemac24 , in fact the uppers on my original pair look like new, and the cushioning still feels good, I had to replace them due to the tread wear on my left shoe. I wear them for gardening now.

I would discuss this with Up and Running, see what they can do.

I'm guessing that the change from Arahi 2 to 3 shouldn't impact on the quality ( I hope not)

Failing that contact Hoka customer service. 🤗

Yes I think I will, they should last longer than this. 🤗

Definitely take them back, we've an up and running in Chester and recently o colleague returned his wrongly supplied trainers 1st class service, they'll be eager to help and will be more than helpful I'm sure.... They definitely should've lasted longer. My brooks which are getting well used are still like new no wear etc!!

My one one aharis I bought a year ago for the same price. They were great at first but this January it felt like I was hitting concrete. After only 250 miles or so but as I weigh about 105 kg. That’s physics for you. The lining in the heels had also gone which I only realised when I went sockless. Cuts and blisters.

However, lunatic me bought two more pairs: trail and road hokas. So far, they’re fine.

I’ve got the same ones and have done about 450k on mine. Just starting to show some wear on the inside of the heels, but still comfy!

That’s what I expected. I’m taking them back on Saturday. So watch this space...
