So, I’m trying hard to get my three runs in. I’m staying in a hotel and when I arrived last night it was cold and dark. So I trotted off to the gym and did my run on the treadmill. Initially I found it monotonous but I changed to a “hilly” setting and increased the pace and eventually I quite enjoyed it! Wouldn’t fancy it everyday though. I missed the scenery and the birds but not the wind and the rain! Lol

Treadmill
Well done. I am the same, I’d almost prefer running in sleet and snow to running on a thread mill. But it is very handy if your staying away in a Hotel and the weather is poor, or it’s dark and your unsure of where to run. The thread mill in the Gym can be handy and safer.

I'm in Bahrain and it's already hot when I run . I am dreading the 40+ temperatures comong up in the summer , I will have no choice but the treadmill . I don't know if I can run 5k + on one ?
To be honest I felt like I was running faster, but it felt comfortable. However the distance was less than normal? Anyway, it’s a run. 🤷🏼♀️
I did a post about this just recently! I am stuck using a treadmill for a while and I’m finding my pace is really off what I do outdoors! It worried me at first but I feel fine when I’m running and I’m running for as long as I used to it’s just that I’m not doing the same distance for some reason 🤷♀️ oh well it’s still a run like you say.
I'm thinking I may have to hit the gym so thanks for the heads up on adding a hilly section. My gut instinct though is just get outdoors for a run however short so all credit to you for completing that run on the treadmill
