An early February 10K

Wasn’t feeling the urge to run but got out there with my music and ran. Got to 3.5 miles and could quite easily have given up but thought no I want my digital badge from Strava for 5k and 10K so the second half of the run seemed better as the distance in my mind got less as the miles increased. Annoying thing though the evening was lovely hardly any breeze if just a little cold but I was boiling come the end of 6.5 miles. Not my best time for a 10K but still more miles on the legs for the BigHalf in three weeks. Good luck to all those running I expect my next run will be Friday.

Great run Papillion17 your run sounds great. I noticed also even being cold weather today I was sweating on the return.

After today i think as we run longer distances time shouldn't be an issue anymore , getting to the end of each run is the best. HM just round the corner now . Good luck 😊

Thanks Buddy34 yes 3 weeks Sunday. I may or may not do another 10K before but will probably hover around 3.5 to 5 miles just to keep ticking over.

Great run, fast too. Your squiggles look like mine when I'm exploring new areas trying to get the miles in without running loops.🤣🤣 happy running

Thanks Grannytobe I started using that route as it meant I wasn’t running so many loops and looks like pretty good. Was wondering if I can get a decent route drawing. Currently looks like a Santa’s sledge with a sack on. 😂 or a big snail.

Good run for you today, great time as well, looking at the graphic there seems to be a lot of twists and turns, good practice for your HM in 3 weeks time, I wish you the very best for that.

Thanks very much AlMorr not really a lot of just in around all the cul de sac’s off my main route as long as they are lit I run them saves going round in circles

Very nice. Your pattern looks like Santa’s sleigh with its full sack on the back. 😄 Practice a reindeer & you’ll be ready for next Christmas! 👍🎉
