Long run

Managed a 7.5 mile run today in 1hr and 12 mins today and I’m getting more and more confident about running the full 10 miles on race day rather than walking parts. I dint know what people’s options are on energy gels/ strips but I bought some revvies and used 1 before I left and 1 half way round and I do think they give you a bit of a boost when you start to flag a bit. I also may need to start carrying water any advice on a good water bottle that’s easy to carry while running. Happy running everyone.

You're building up those miles nicely Maz1234. If you find your energy strips are working for you then stick with them. You'll complete that race no problem. Good luck 😊😊

Well done for your distance.

I run with a water belt and also have a hydro pack too. The hydro pack is like a ruck sack and you have a pipe to drink the wanted along the way. The water belt has less water but it is lighter to carry. I don’t mind wearing either 😀
