Well.... I had to get home somehow!

My biggest boy (5) had his nativity this morning so as I was having to rush back to work after, I opted for Mrs N to give me a lift in as opposed to cycling.

Getting picked up again wasn't an option so I decided I might as well run home. The weather was not favourable, but despite the hard rain and strong head winds I decided to extend my commute to tick off the 9K run of week 6.

Well, you only get wet once!

Absolutely loved it, but my legs are feeling it now I'm home. Maybe I should have opted for the 4k or 5k runs, considering I haven't been out for a week or so? 🙈

Maybe you should have done a shorter run but you didn't you just ran 9k😊

I have found that the longer runs leave my legs a bit achy even after making sure I stretch after every run .

So I bought a foam roller from eBay it's brilliant.
