What angels ๐ the Park Run volunteers are for standing over an hour in the freezing cold to encourage & cheer us on. My PB 40:22 today gets me more than halfway through the Goodbye Gravity Challenge of running 40.8K by Dec 29
Enjoy working towards your goals today everyone. ๐

You're so right, Annieapple, all the volunteers deserve medals, especially in this winter weather. And well done you on your new pb, fantastic stuff! ๐
21.3 โ ...hopefully if I can fit in 5 or 6 more runs I will do it! Going to a wedding in Brussels next week but will take the running shoes & try to sneak off on a quick run ๐โโ๏ธ
Congratulations Annieapple on that 40.22 PB at this mornings Parkrun, I did say to you last week that it wouldn't be long on you running a sub 40 minute 5K at parkrun, with that PB today, perhaps your next 5K you will manage a sub 40 minute 5K at parkrun.
Congratulations on your PB. Very well done. I totally agree, volunteers are legends. I ran a parkrun this morning. Thankfully it was dry whilst I was running. At the finish line I waited a couple of minutes for Mrs damienair to cross the line. Just then it started snowing. My goodness it was cold. But our nice breakfast out warmed us up again.
Thanks Damienair. Glad you & Mrs D had a nice breakfast! Always good after a run ๐. Yes I feel the urge to volunteer as well. We will have to get the thermals out๐คฃ
