Week 5, 4km ✅

[Debston]

I missed Parkrun at the weekend (too tired after Christmas party on Friday night and just couldn't get out of bed!) so I didn't really finish Week 4. But I decided to press on and start Week 5 with a breezy 4km at Sissinghurst Castle Estate - I ran there a lot while doing Couch to 5k but haven't been for ages. It's just up the road from me and there's a great 5km trail which takes you down farm tracks, through fields and woods round the lake and back up to the orchards. Bit muddy in places but not too boggy. All in all, a good run! ☺

Looks a nice place to run. My attitude to running is that it has to fit in around my life rather than the other way round, and at this time of year parties etc are more important!

😂 Mine look VERY professional at the moment. I will vacuum the mud off when they have dried out! I love rediscovering routes I haven't done in a while, keeps things interesting. And I had the whole place pretty much to myself today which was lovely - it gets pretty busy in the warmer months.
