Congratulations. It's an amazing journey from being able to run only a couple of hundred metres in a minute to 10k in hour and 6:46. What a great time too! Well done on a fantastic achievement. I'm made up for you π πββοΈπ€ΈββοΈππ₯
Mahoosive well done Buddy! Relish the euphoric feeling, you deserve it! What a good time too. πππ One thing though - whereβs your badge? You need it so you can stare at it for days on end! π π
Hahaha you must be knackered! Sadly, whenever I run a badge claiming distance, itβs pretty much the first thing I do when I get back - but I do love a badge and canβt wait any longer! π π π
Congratulations to you my friend on completing your first 10K and graduating to Graduate10 here on Bridge to 10K, great time as well, last week I predicted you would do it in around that time, excellent. You know how to get your graduation10 badge and the word GRADUATE10 next to your username π ππΎ π
Thank you and yes cheekychipmunks noticed I didn't have my badge yet . I'd honestly forgot about this , think that first 10k really tired me out. I've asked for it now π
Congratulations Buddy34,. The first 10k gives such a fantastic buzz and is something to feel very proud of. I hope you will be celebrating in style , and signing up for your first 10k race. πββοΈππ»ππ»π₯πΎπ
Thanks. I've said before on here I thought 5k was my limit. But now I've done 10k I'm really pleased . I'm sure 10k really is the furthest I want to go . π
Superb! I lIβve seeing your milestones as you were so supportive to me in couch to 5k and a cheerleader to so many. You must be feeling awesome knowing you have another incredible running milestone under your belt ππ»ππππππͺπ»
Big congratulations. Fantastic achievement, fabulous time also and the first 10k is surely a run to remember and be so very proud of it. Enjoy the next one too.
Oh thatβs fantastic! Well done!!! ππ»ππ»ππ» This is such an amazing forum, seeing how people start out from nothing and get to 5k then sometimes 10k- youβre an inspiration!
That's brilliant. I knew you would do it, determination is your middle name! I'm stuck on 7k with a sore knee that is making me cross. I think I'm going to have to find a physio as I'm not getting anywhere on my own. Enjoy your achievement. It's pretty special.
I'll give it a go! I'm getting really fed up with it! Fine when I run but really quite sore afterwards! Husband thinks I should have two or three weeks off so maybe I'm being impatient!
Im in the same position....took extra rest days but knees started hurting on a run too so had to stop....had 10 days off now and itching to get back out there....maybe try a short one Friday...if no better im at the point of searching for a physio.
Ice packs help with leg elevated and i am waiting for knee sleeves....hope your better soon.
I'm a bit late to the party as I haven't been very well with my dental surgeries (had 3 now!) and have barely managed short, slow runs, let alone adding to my 8K, so I've not been on here and I missed that you DID IT! Well done, I'm so chuffed for you π€ I'll catch you up next year π
