Recovering from a slight hamstring strain.

I've posted on here a couple of times about this. I believe I strained my hamstring 3 weeks ago after feeling a pull down the back of my right thigh during cool down stretches after running. I have tried running since but the problem was still there. So I haven't ran for over a week now. However when bending down I can still feel that pull at the back of my thigh. In fact, I am worried that bending down is actually hampering my recovery, by pulling my hamstring. Am I right to be concerned? Bending down isn't something I can completely stop doing due to working with small children. Or do I just need to rest from running for a bit longer?

Get it checked by a doc if you aren't happy.

You might need to do some really light stretching on it to get the tightness out of it.

I had a slight ache there a while back and I remember reading to sit on a chair with your leg stretched out in front of you with your foot resting on something just higher than your heart. If that makes sense and it helped 😊
