No Parkrun for me - cancelled due to winds.

Just seen on Facebook that my local Parkrun is cancelled tomorrow due to high winds forecast. It sounds like the whole forest will be closed all day. Anyway, you might want to check the cancellations if you're planning to go to Parkrun tomorrow. Looks like it's quite a few on the list already. parkrun.org.uk/cancellations/

Ours is not canceled. But honestly, weather is not nice and it does need determination to go.

Will check in the morning again and decide.

Ours isn’t cancelled yet, but I’ve decided not to do it. I think they should cancel for the sake of the volunteers, it really is going to be awful on the south coast.

Yes, I was quite grateful that the decision was made, better safe than sorry and all that. Sounds like the whole of Bedgebury forest will be closed so out of Parkrun's hands in our case. I shall watch the rugby instead and run later on if it is not tooooo wild...

I'm not at parkrun tomorrow anyway as I go every 2 weeks . Ours is cancelled anyway as there is a fun run. Looks great if you have young kids. 😊

Planning to do my First NENDY challenge and parkrun tourism! It turns out they may cancel too! They will confirm in the morning. I will be disappointed if so but safety comes first I suppose.
