Did 'em both. It happened to be sunny for both. Don't know how I'll cope next week with more rain forecast.
Everything hurts (in a good way) coz I did 6 hrs digging in my new allotment this week. I just need more dry weather to get the plot sorted out and ready for spring. Unfortunately jarred by dodgy ankle, but on the basis of what doesn't kill you makes you stronger....

I spent last night reading about allotments. I'm going to test the soul pH then add either manure or lime and maybe put cardboard for mulch on top to stop weeds on the newly dug areas. Then I'm going to curl up in front of the fire for the winter and plan what to play π
Well done on the allotment, think I may have to move to new home to ditch our massive garden and make way for running π you take care of the back with all that digging, cant risk more injury
When we started to find our veg patch too much to manage (everybody working or away at college), a call out to the neighbourhood word-of-mouth info network produced a fantastic newly-retired chap who managed the plot for us in return for half the produce. He became a beloved friend & everyone gained. Itβs worth asking around.... π
The real reason for moving is to get closer to babytobe and all the rest of the family so makes sense to look for slightly more manageable garden with new house. We have β acre at the moment! Glad you've found a new friend gardener. Happy running
I used to think 10 squats was quite a lot (when I started 3 was difficult so 10 was a great improvement) 'til a colleague said he does 200 at a time. So I did digging + 20 squats yesterday
What lovely looking soil. I love a bit of lovely clean soil. Maybe something to do with the endless possibilities of just what you might or can do with it.
Glad to note it has not distracted you from your running . π»π»π»
Well done baddie, 2 fast runs and a long dig. I havenβt had much energy since my speed challenge run on Monday. Are you going to put winter crops in?
I am pretty sure that when my running was at its strongest my stamina was up soI could garden longer without thinking of a rest, but I still don't think that I would manage 3 hours digging without a break. Well done again to you!
