September was excellent. Steady pattern of run days established. Strength & Flex started. Time & distance pushing along nicely (if slowly, of course). All good stuff.
And then: pffft, all change! Rain every-when, and slippery mud on the trails. House guests - lovely & wouldnβt want to be without them, but not good for running schedule. Then OH with a mini-crisis on the health front. More rain. ... ππ
But sun is out this morning & Weather Bod says a dry spell is coming. Health thing now seems stable. And tomorrow is Sunday & usual day for longer run. Trotters crossed to get a new Deal for Running over the line.... π’π

ππΌππ Our daughter is working, or sheβd be there tomorrow. But her running pal is running, so we have many of you to (virtually) follow on the big day.
Oh yes, I recognise that! Have had a bit of a lapse myself in October and a niggle in the hip but time to get back to it. Hope the health issue resolves for your oh and that you can get back in the groove. The funny thing is that the more challenging it is to find time to run the more it helps to do it!
Too true about the challenge/benefit equation! Hoping to get out there in (presumed) sunshine tomorrow at last. Nice to hear from you - hope you too have a return to a useful groove. ππ
I always find this a difficult time for running - rain, mud, dark creeping into mornings and evenings - it only takes life to throw up something unexpected and the routine goes out of the window.
