Back to plan after 2 weeks holiday

I've been back on the 10k plan this week after nearly 2 weeks holiday. I decided to go back to week 4 and have enjoyed being back out there.

Anyone else struggling with dark mornings and evenings?

Also has anyone got any recomendations for waterproof trail shoes? I currently have brooks , which I love and they drain water away really quickly but my feet are still very wet!

Hope everyone else has had a good week, happy weekend runs

Waterproof shoes aren’t good apparently as the water gets in still and can’t drain. I’ve heard sealskinz waterproof socks are good though.

Hey Lisa, welcome back and hope you had a lovely break away! It is nice to get back into running isn't it. I was exactly the same when I was on holiday earlier this year, i kept thinking about c25k on the plane ride home.

There is plenty of advice on running with the season change and darker nights etc, I have a thread on it which you can take a look at. Juju magic plan is so magic, I graduated this week and am elated with my progress. It's even made me think about doing a couple races around the festive period to make my running journey this year and into next year.

I had very wet feet this morning walking through the fields to parkrun.. arrghhh!
