Best warm up when it's cold (outside)

I always warm up and down by walking briskly for 5 minutes before starting my run. I think this is OK when I'm running on the treadmill (inside) but is it enough of a warm up when running outside on a cold day?

You can if you wish have a longer warm up walk before you run, especially if it's cold, that way by the time you run you will be nice and warm 😊🏃🏾

5 minutes followed by some stretches was enough for me last winter, assuming you're dressed appropriately for the temperature🌬

Yes. Unless the run you’re warming up for is less than 400m ...... 😀
