Inspired by backintime 's post, I thought I would follow in those footsteps (see what I did there) and post a pic of my trusty footwear.
In the middle are my splendid Asics road shoes that have served me well for graduation and towards 10k. Light, comfy and springy, they give reasonable heal support.
Outside are my brand new Salomon trail shoes. Not broken in yet, they are much stiffer and heavier than I am used to, and I am wearing them in short stints to slowly force them to comply to my feet... Or vice versa.
I figured moving into winter I would need something vaguely water resistant and better able to cope with the odd slippery path.

I loved my Salomons especially for agility but have now worn them into the ground and couldn’t really justify the enormous cost again so am giving kookaburra a go more reasonable have only done a few agility shows in them but no running as of yet.
