Next Saturday, October 12th, damienair and his son are using my local PR, Eastville Park in Bristol, as one of their Compass Challenge runs. 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♂️

It would be fabulous if anyone else would care to join us. Am I right in thinking that you will be there SkiMonday ? 😀 I’m pretty sure that Dexy5 and UpTheStanley are coming too, so there’s already quite a nice little posse. 👍

But obviously, the more the merrier, so if you fancy an undulating inner city (but really pretty) PR, come along! 😀😀😀

Sorry we can't make it next week, but it is definitely on the list for when we visit my brother.

Apart from anything else it counts towards the Compass in Running Challenges. We already have North Sydney and South Manchester is scheduled for January, so Eastville will be the third point.

Oh that’s good. I haven’t run Eastville in about a month - so much tourism has been going on! So it’ll fun to go back! 🏃‍♀️

I added an update to Damien's original post before I found this one.

I'm going to be one of the volunteers so I can't really do a kit photo, besides, the beard is one of my recognisable features and it's not detachable.

It should be easy to recognise me by looking out for a combination of an Auzzie hat (no corks), goatee, sandals and yellow vest.

I'm planning on getting the bus so I should get there around 8:00.

Glad I checked: the bus I get doesn't stop at the Shell petrol station and I think the next stop is in the centre of town. Must remember to get off early!

I wish we could but we’ll be right the other side of England this Saturday getting our first ‘G’ for the BeeGees challenge! We do need to do Eastville though as we’ve only got Southampton so far. Have fun! 😀

Just had a crazy week in work. Long days and a lot of driving. Just finished emails now. I didn’t visit the forum much this week. I’ve shut the laptop and after 7.5 hours in the car I’m going out for a nice 5K run. Then home and pack the bag for tomorrow. Umbrella and rain coats packed. Friday in Bristol will be just like a summers day in Ireland. Hoping Saturday will be dry and the parkrun weather fairies 🧚‍♀️ do their job.
