Well the time has come, 1st half marathon tomorrow. Am I looking forward to it, I not sure. Training has been a bit hit and miss but I did manage to run, jog & crawl the distance 3 weeks ago although I couldn't walk the next day partly because I misjudge the distance. After I'd completed the 13.2 miles, I was still 3 miles from home. That was the longest 3 miles in my life! Valuable lesson learnt!
The only thing that is driving me on tomorrow is the beer afterwards. So any advice is welcome, wish me luck!, I'm gonna need it!

Top tip is always 'don't go off too fast'! It's so hard not to with the nerves and excitement. Just pace yourself, soak up the atmosphere and enjoy the bling at the end!๐ Good luck!๐
Good luck to you on your Robin Hood first HM, I hope you enjoy the beer after the run, you will certainly deserve and enjoy it, sadly I am tee total, well the only alcohol I have drank is at Christmas Dinner, a little wine, so I don't intend to run any further than 10K, once again, good luck for tomorrow. ๐ ๐
Good luck mickh007. I know youโll do famously tomorrow. Run your own race, soak up the fabulous atmosphere and know that youโve already run the distance! Start off nice and slowly and conserve your energy. Youโll smash it! ๐๐๐๐
