I’m in a Premier Inn as it’s a very early start... Hull marathon relay tomorrow: I’m third of four with 6.4 miles through the Old Town. I am nervous as I’ve struggled a bit recently and haven’t run 10k in a while: hoping the atmosphere will carry me through!
I think it’s amazing that Hull marathon offers relay options of two- and four-person teams as part of the bigger event, everyone running together. It’s really inclusive and there’s talk amongst our team of coming back next year in two teams of two... I suspect it will be an inspiring day, certainly. I’ve only done two races before, both were small and friendly events, so this will be a very new experience for me!
Impressed that one of my team-mates found limited edition Snickers... 👍

You’ll smash it Molly! You’re right, the atmosphere will absolutely pull you through. Just remember not to to let it make start off too quickly. I love big events for that reason. 🏃♀️🏃♂️🏃♀️🏃♂️🏃♀️
Looking forward to your race report and of course a photo of your 🏅🏅🏅 Good luck! 👍😀🏃♀️
As it's after 12 and you said it was an early start I'm thinking you'll have done it by now...I'm loving the idea of a relay marathon (and now fancy a snickers, retro or not), hope it went wonderfully 🏃♀️😊👍
Thank you everyone. It was a very long day: I was up before 6 but didn’t run until midday. I’ll write a separate run report but overall it wasn’t a great day. Bad organisation let us down 🙁
