I have just realised a major advantage of running - I’m really looking forward to autumn and winter and the chance to run mid-morning (my best time) without overheating! Autumn always used to be my favourite season but since my husband’s stroke in 2012 I have dreaded winter a bit because it’s so restrictive for Sam and he gets so cold so easily. So this is a real turnaround for me and it’s great to feel positive at this time of year.

I hear you Kalessin! I’ve found this summer wonderful - but too hot for running. It didn’t stop me (no way), but it definitely slowed me down, and judging by the posts on here. I’m not the only one!
