I started C25k just over a year ago, completing in November the first time then again in February (due to an op over Christmas) and have loved ‘becoming a runner’ 🏃♀️🏃♀️.
I run at home on a treadmill and so have never really invested in what I’m wearing, an old pair of cropped trackies and something just to hold in the top half have always done. So after reading some posts about running leggings I thought I would treat myself - having never really thought of myself as a ‘proper runner’ I thought it was time to change the attitude as well as the clothes!
Found myself a lovely pair of leggings on the Decathlon website, ordered and last Friday I got the email to say they arrived. In my excitement I promptly slipped over, banged my knee and haven’t been able to run since! Other half collect my package and I woefully took out my lovely new leggings, tried them on and love them.
They’re currently sitting on the arm of my treadmill just waiting for me to get them on and give them that first outing. Failing that they’d make good pj’s right? 😂🏃♀️

What bad luck! Still, your new leggings will wait for you when your knee has recovered. Beware, buying running clothing is addictive, next it will be a new top, and then.....
I know it's hard but try not to get too excited when your new running gear arrives look what's happened . Hopefully you'll be fully fit soon and run in your new proper runner leggings. 😊😊
