I don't know how but I liked it. Went out for a morning Run to help pick me up for the day ahead. Usually I'm an evening runner but after lovely morning runs on the camel trail in Cornwall, I thought I'd try for that at home.
Rain was forecast and I felt the drizzle as I stepped out so was in the frame of mind to go fast but was cautious about overdoing.it this week. I did some fast interval running on the treadmill at the gym yesterday but garmin didn't agree(it seems to either go under or over on the treadmill). It seemed to help though as after 3k garmin said my performance condition was 10. Now I have never seen it start higher than 6 so it was like I had had a week off and at the end of the run it said I did not get out of heart zone 3 which is amazing as well. If I hadn't run the same route a 100 times I'd doubt myself but no I just did a 5k in under 28 mins some 35 seconds under the pb I set 4 days ago. Wtf!
I'm definately having a bacon bap now πmaybe even a dirty pasty.

It's all relative I guess. I know people I work with that go for a 'jog' on occasion and do a 23min parkrun. I'd like to some day do a 25 as it'd feel like I was moving along then π
Brilliant work, well done! Enjoy the bacon bap. Iβm heading out for a pint and a bite to eat later π»ππ I might even watch a bit of the footie β½οΈ
Thankyou, and yes I was so surprised at that as typically if I'm pushing it would all be zone 4 and touching into 5. I have seen the heart rate spike to 200 and sit at 180 plus for the last k or so. So for it all to be average 146 for that effort was shocking. But I'll take it, gift horse and all hehe
