Nice! This is on my short list as well. When my FR 10 wouldn't turn on earlier this week I was a little panicked, then thought ooooooh new watch 😍 .... but then I cleaned the charging posts, did the software update and Voila, it's working again. No new watch for me yet 😢

I hve the F10 and F15 Cheap as chips Battery life bit suss though if you're trying to finish a marathon. I have to wear em both. Belt and braces sorta thing. I switch the F15 on when the F10 dies.

I have the Forerunner 735XT, I bought it as a treat the first time I graduated C35K, an excellent piece of tech.

If the 245 has half the features of the 735 then you'll be learning it for a while but it's well worth it.

One niggle I have with the 735 is if you run without the chest strap it doesn't capture your heartrate properly, it could be me not wearing it in the right place though and I always use the chest strap, except once or twice.
