Nostell Priory parkrun

I haven’t been on the forum for a couple of weeks: my busiest fortnight at work (A level results time) left me exhausted so I didn’t run for 12 days! I really missed it but was working such long hours it just didn’t happen. My first outing this week was a struggle but I got through a 5k and then today I did Nostell Priory parkrun. It’s a NT site near Wakefield and while it’s a bit of a drive it’s one I’ve fancied doing for a while. It’s undulating (that’s hilly in my world!) and it was really warm, so another toughie, but a beautiful setting and one I’d recommend. Hope everyone is pottering along well 👍

Well done on not just turning over in bed when your alarm went off! Must have felt so good to be back out there after an exhausting week or two. Lol at undulating, there's a parkrun near me described like that, I also take it to mean "hilly" 😁

Absolutely: I gave a lot of hills near me, it doesn’t make me any better at getting up them!!

No it’s not too far: I’m in Pudsey. I like a bit of parkrun tourism 👍
