Oh what a shame Winter. No experience of HS injuries I’m afraid. Have you seen a sports physio? Take care. 🙂

Sorry to hear this 😕. I know from experience how frustrating it is! If you are still getting a lot of pain do you need another visit to the doctor? Hope things improve soon.

Sorry to hear this, Winter76. Hamstring tears can take a time to heal, as it is such a big muscle group. If it is still sore, be sure to ice it at least 4 times a day. A sports physio would be the best person to give you advice though. When the pain subsides, I do recommend a sports massage - they can really help speed up the healing process. I had a minor hamstring strain after graduating and I do remember it took a while to heal fully. You just have to be patient and not run until fully better. Rest up.
