If I’m totally honest, I’m not really enjoying all these long runs at the minute. Time is difficult and I suppose it feels like another chore to squeeze into my day. But, that said, I’m aiming for 10K (ish) by early September in order to do the wolf run and this plan is working! So yesterday 5.2 miles including warm up walk. It feels ok, I just think I’ll be glad when I can choose when I do my long runs? Does anyone else feel like this or is it just me?

I’m not on the plan, but it seems you might benefit from mixing it up a bit: short sprints, jog/run for 20-30 minutes....

Hi Madmother, those long runs are time consuming. I see you are following an interval training plan and now up to doing 3x15 minute runs with short walk breaks. Are you doing that 3 times during the week...sounds a bit like the Sammi Murphy program I tried to do. I found this type of plan very tiring.
Have you thought about giving Ju Ju's Magic 10 plan a go. It can be done in 6 weeks (if you don't need to repeat any weeks) and has 3 runs per week a short run, a 5k, and the third run gets just slightly longer each week.
Here is a link to it in case you haven't seen it.

Well done to you running in that hilly area too! 😊xxx
