After visiting Uncle Sam at the cemetery and Pourville Beach where all those Canadians were lost, we arrived in Paris this afternoon, a lovely drive, uneventful too, dropped the car off and now in our hotel. Back in the UK Saturday, you’ll know when we arrive it will be like Pig-Pen from the Peanuts cartoon we’ll be followed by a cloud of dust and a swarm of flies. I have never looked forward so much to seeing a washing machine again.

PS thank you everyone for letting me share and listening. Happy running all 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️🙂

Thanks cheeky, off shopping to the Galeries Lafayette tomorrow (window) that is, those shops and their prices made my eyes water. All part of the experience. Can’t wait. 🙂

If you fancy a trot, the Buttes Chaumont is a nice runners’ park. Mind you, that was 35 years ago! I suddenly feel very old. Enjoy!!!

Thanks HeavyFoot, I’m going to look that up. Desperate for a trot now.

If you’re anywhere near Parc Montsouris (Cité Universitaire on RER B) on Saturday before you leave Paris, there’s a very friendly, slightly hilly parkrun. Xx

Loving your European trip Lexi. French parkrun would be impressive too.
