Download it as a memento of a great month of running.
Obviously don't try running along slipways!
How have you done this last month... Did you make your goals, some or all of them?
My target, just to be out running again after the IC, and to be back to 10K... I made it
Don't be too hard on yourself if you did not achieve all your goals... we have to accept that things happen to alter our plans, injury, or weather and life gets very busy!
There is a new Quest beginning today, so time to think or rethink some new targets!
A huge well done to every single one of you...

Good morning oldfloss, I'm so happy right now with 3 parkrun under my belt and a new pb on Saturday of 25mins 23 secs . No looking back now and I'm loving it !!!. My new goal is to go under 25mins at parkrun so watch this space!!😁😁👌✌
Thank you for hosting this months Quest Floss. The light is super in that photo, I love it!
So pleased you were able to go running again and that you built up to that 10k run by the coast!😊
I'm really happy with my month of activity...three Parkruns, a 10k and a 9k run plus five other good runs. We had some nice walks in the countryside and clocked up over 60k.
Looking forward to keeping the momentum up in August😊....xxx
I ran thrice-weekly, just missing one day when the temperature was in the 30s. I hope I won’t get penalised for that! I have done Parkrun three times, with two PBs. This month, I hope to work on distance, as my pace seems to be picking up of its own accord! 😁
Well, thank you, OldFloss, for doing these posts because (1) you saved me when I was hanging by a thread, and (2) now I'm running more regularly. I never run 3k, but I did graduate once upon a time; I'm just old and slow....
Old and slow.. that is me too... and we rock, totally! You are here, you are running and that is just perfect! Print off the certificate... frame it and be proud... Join the new quest too.. I did yesterday! xx
Glad to hear you got up to 10km again flossy. I did my first trail race in July which nearly put me off doing them for life. I then did a slow, lumpy, bumpy trail run in the early morning in France. The lovely thing about it was all the runners and cyclists that I met saying “Bonjour”. I Went to see my osteoporosis specialist today and he recommended strength and balance exercises. So I have a plan for August. Starting with my favourite race on Saturday night “the streets of galway”.
It's very nice and there are usually loads of supporters out cheering on the runners. Of course, it normally rains I'm not doing much road running these days but this was my first race ever and the first event that I trained for - from 1 minute of running to 1 hour. So it has a special place in my heart
It’s been a bit of a struggle month for me. I am not good with heat and managed to be in France for 2 weeks during the heatwave, which limited running to 2 short runs, both beautiful. One on the island in the Loire at Amboise, and one on the Charente at Vibrac. During the middle bit of the holiday in Bordeaux it was far too hot. Managed parkruns on the other Saturdays plus a bit of interval running. I now need to buckle back down into training for the Great South Run.
