I am a 57 year old London man. At the start of May, I hadn't run for at least 15 years, but, after doing a lot of walking, found I was sometimes breaking into a jog. Running seemed the logical next step. Did the Couch to 5K. Graduated by doing a local parkrun in 26:26, and am now planning a twice-weekly plus Parkrun schedule.

That’s a great time, well done! There’s a plan called the Magic 10 which is a good way of getting from 5k to 10k, as you’ve done the C25k you’ll be familiar with the pattern of two shorter runs and a long run per week (but you can do them in any order), the longer run increases in distance (or time if you prefer) and it helped me get to 10k.

Welcome EEPaul! Fantastic PR time, you sound like a natural. Yes, as already mentioned by Julia187 , ju-ju- ‘s Magic 10 plan is the way to go. Check out the pinned post on here, and you’ll do it alongside other members of the forum which is fun. I’ve done it 4 times I think!
Have fun and enjoy your runs! 👍🏃👊
