Feeling sluggish and grumpy as haven't run since last Saturday. The knee is undecided about whether it's happy or not. Sometimes the stairs cause no pain or twinging, then 20 mins later it could be stabbing pains on every stair π€¬π€¬π€¬
Thinking I may try a short run tomorrow as it's fine walking and riding the horse. If there is any sign to trouble I'll stop and ring the physio on Monday.
Sorry to be a moaning mini but the cat is completely disinterested in my woes and I need to grump somewhere! π€·ββοΈ
For those of you not on the IC hope your week hasn't been curtailed too much by the heat. Hurrah for the drizzle this morning π
Happy running folks xxx
Pic is off a random toad(?) that inexplicably was sitting on my garden table πΈπΈ

Sorry your knee is still being a pain, literally, JU. Hereβs hoping you get it sorted soon. π€ On the plus side, you really didnβt miss a whole lot not running this week. Itβs been brutal π₯΅π₯΅π₯΅
I think itβs been a bit of a week for, aherm, βreflectionβ... so many JuJu-ers feeling a bit thwarted - one way or another (including me!!). This week is the longest Iβve not run since January... every time I walk the dog I wonder if my legs will be strong enough to run EVER AGAIN... (no real problems... just a million reasons to be an utter wuss this week... π). You must be SO CROSS with that inflatable... x
Me too! But went out for a run yesterday and the rest meant I ran better. I am working on the basis that it takes 2 weeks to lose fitness so 1 week won't kill me! ππ€£π
Hi there, firstly super congrats on your 60 min badge, very shiny ππππ
My knee was improving, then I slipped on the bathroom floor π€¦ββοΈ and to top it off last week I developed pf. So frantically rollering my foot which seems to be helping. I've got a few days walking in Dorset next week. Assuming all limbs survive that I'll get back running. I am missing it. No doubt I'll bore you all with photos of my mini hol π
Hi Iβm in Dorset next week myself! Iβm at the Great Dorset steam fair for a few days, and Iβm hoping to walk some of the Jurassic coastline . Iβll be taking my running gear so if you see someone wearing blue brooks trainers a green bandana to keep the blue aftershokz on and a faithful spaniel in tow, that will be me ! Oh yes and doing the snail trot!
Hope that P F eases for you. I had it and the only thing that worked for me was FitFlops not flip flops and Birkenstock sandals.
Enjoy your time in Dorset and hereβs hoping the weather will be kind to us!
So frustrating when we can't do what we want, we're just not used to "no"! ππ» hopefully you can get out tomorrow for a little, meantime grumpy away, we don't mind π€£
