It’s very strange. I lay in bed last night planning this mornings run. A slightly new route for me. As in, I’ve done it all before, but never all as one run. So it’s a hilly trail, tough and long (ish). Woke up all excited about heading out. Got ready, chose what I was going to wear carefully, stepped out of the front door and thought, ‘shall I just do a quick 5k along the canal?’
Anyway the funny old thing is... 3 steps into the run, I settled and was happy to follow my plan! Seriously, less than 5 metres in! I started to think, does everyone feel like this? I mean professionals too?! On the starting line at the Olympic marathon does Mo think “maybe I’ll just stay in and watch Homes under the Hammer instead”!
Have fun everybody. And to all fellow teachers - a week/week and a half to go.........and breathe.🤪😂🏃♀️

Well done Katiepops, I’m not a teacher but I do appreciate the good work you all do, and running must be a great way to switch off. Happy holidays ahead. ☀️🍦⛱
I like being flexible with my runs whereas OH wants to know exactly what he’s doing and doesn’t like to alter it.
